What to do: Get your children in the Halloween spirit by attending the Forum’s Children Book Festival.

There will be ghostly stories, frightening face painting and Halloween activities for everyone to join in with. Best of all, everyone is invited to come along dressed up!

What to do: Ever wondered where the origins of Hallowe’en started? You will soon find out at this ghoulish event!

Take part in making Hallowe’en cards, wander along the scary Hallowe’en trail, listen to a creepy story and watch as the Hallowe’en pumpkins are prepared.

Everyone is welcome to arrive in Halloween costumes to this drop-in event.

What to do: For the bravest children aged 4 – 11, this year at Wat Tyler Park, you have the opportunity to venture through three haunted mazes: The Clown Circus, The Toy Shop and The Haunted House.

With live actors, special effects and confusing routes, each child attending this spooky event must be accompanied by an adult and will receive a treat bag at the end.

There will be other activities such as the witches house of arts and crafts, a train and a bouncy castle, weather depending.

No booking necessary. £5 per child.

All children are allowed to come along dressed up, but make sure you wrap up warm as there will be indoor and outdoor activities.
