One of my favourite fashion designers, a designer who expresses a unique statement of surrealistic style and pathos for femininity is Mary Katrantzou.
Mary’s affinity for textile design led her to create a collection of digital printed, body flattering pieces that celebs like Sarah Jessica Parker, Rihanna, Kerry Washington and more have come to love.
Her love for textiles developed at an early age, considering the Athens-born fashion designer’s father worked in textile design and her mother was an interior designer.
She attended Rhode Island School of Design and then completed both her BA and MA at Central Saint Martins. Mary has previously worked for Sophia Kokosalaki and freelanced for Bill Blass, amongst other designers.
